DOCTOR STRANGE LIKENESS

doctor strange render002.png

I consider this project finished, you are probably thinking but why did you put it in this tab?
the answer is simple, because this project was a test.

Test for what? you might be asking yourself...
my skills, rarely do I make likeness, I was always working on creatures, animals, cartoon characters, clothes, assets and there were no likeness projects among these, so I decided by myself to make a likeness from the beginning to the end.

Likeness is a proof of observation, the artist who can observe the macro and micro details; wins this proof!

in this project the sculpt took more than 80-85% of the whole project's time!

during the process I had some ideas to turn this head into a game-ready head, so I used the 3dscanstore and the zwrap to make it real as soon as possible, and bring some minimal details such as some pores to the model. if it were to go for games it would need hair for games, to save time, I reused the hair cards that were made in the previous week, for the boar model and used in Doctor Strange, positioning hair by hair!

I really like the result of Doctor Strange, but I can't consider it a major project, despite the quality of the likeness, there are some things that do not pass in my filter to be included in the independent projects tab, the texture is by 3d scan store and not made by me, the hair is reused from the boar project, and it is too thick for human hair, this project was more of an experience for me, I learned a lot and I found some points to improve in my skills and in my next projects.
