Tony the horse

Tony the Horse -
It idea came from a period in which I was focusing on creating animals for games, small animals like frogs, large animals like sharks and an African boar, and even tiny insects like the Chinese beetle, after so much knowledge acquired in these projects I decided to do something even bigger!
Then the idea of ​​a horse came up, at first it was just the horse but I decided to also include a saddle and halter.

Horse is an animal that has an elongated face, which from the front causes a lot of strangeness, as we always used to see horses from the side, see the example of the silhouette of Tony the Horse, from the side it is undeniable that it is a horse , but from the front it can cause doubts in some, this happens because of familiarity.
we are more familiar with viewing these animals from the side

Having explained the concept of familiarity, this gives an idea of ​​how challenging it is to make a horse stay faithful in a frontal view, and seeing Tony's silhouette you can know that I was very happy with this task despite the difficulty.

With the experience gained previously, my success was not only in highpoly but also in the retopology process, I was very successful in creating a very light density for the horse!

A fundamental part of the horse is its hair, for this I used blender and xnormal, to create hair cards for the horse's hair!

Tony the horse without saddle

This would be Tony's final result, with his textures created by me using substance painter, but I decided not to, something gave me the impression that he was "naked", not only of clothes but of personality, so I decided to create a cage and halter for him, to give him personality and an individual style!

I primarily used the blender to create the modeling, I made the saddle while texturing the horse, which gave me a better vision of what I would look for for the saddle!
This was the final result of the saddle.

TONY GALLERY 

Tony's final result was above what I expected, honestly I was hoping to make a very good piece for my portfolio, but due to all the calm, attention, dedication and previous experience I managed to exceed my expectations, which left me immensely happy, I want to leave you with the final result of this project that is so special to me.
